Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
What is Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)?
An agreement signed between solar companies and power consumers. A photovoltaic system is installed at no upfront cost for a customer. Then the power producer sells the electricity generated to the customer at a specified price, which is as a rule lower than the power rate charged by electricity retailers. PPAs allow saving money on electrical bills for up to 25 years.
