What is Feed-In remuneration?

Special scheme meant for promotion of renewable energy. Payment for the electrical power produced from renewable energy and injected into the public power grid. The injected power is registered by calibrated feed-in meters and is invoiced to grid operators. Feed-in remuneration is regulated by the Renewable Energy Act, which has introduced the annual payment degression. Since 2012, it depends on the number of new installations connected to the electric grid. The more new plants have been constructed during the previous year, the less finance is allocated for remuneration in the following year.
