What is C-rate?
The amount of energy a battery can output and the time it takes to discharge. A 1C rate refers to a battery that can provide energy sufficient for discharging its capacity during an hour. A 4C rate represents a batt that will discharge its capacity in 15 minutes. Thus, a 5kw battery with a 2C rate can provide an average of 10kw and can be discharged in 30 minutes.
