Building integrated photovoltaics

What are Building integrated photovoltaics?

Solar modules integrated into building envelopes to replace traditional building materials (for example, glass) or structural elements. BIPV can be integrated into roofs, facades, skylights, eyebrows over the top of windows, or other envelope structures. The technology is becoming more affordable and allows saving on installation.
