Raizen's Solar Sale: 115 MWp to Elis Energia
Brazil's Raizen SA has agreed to sell 115.4 MWp of distributed generation (DG) solar plant projects to Elis Energia for up to BRL 700 million. The deal involves 31 DG solar park projects and is set to be completed by December 2025. The money will be paid as the projects are developed and built by Raizen Energia before being transferred to the buyer.The transaction supports Raizen's portfolio recycling strategy, value creation, and debt reduction. It is subject to approval by the Brazilian antitrust regulator CADE. Elis Energia will acquire the small solar system in Brazil as part of the agreement with Raizen.
