Voltalia's revenues climb 4% Y/Y in Q1

  • Renewable power plants operator Voltalia SA (EPA: VLTSA) raised its revenues by 4% on the year in the very first quarter of 2023, aided by the growing activity in its services business and enhanced energy sales.

The French firm booked EUR 98.9 million (USD 108.8 m) in revenues for January-March, a bourse filing showed on Wednesday. Sales at its Services division, which focuses on growth, building and construction and also procurement activity as well as procedure as well as maintenance (O&M) services, leapt by 58%, mainly due to interior services development, regardless of the reduction in new orders from third-party clients. At the end of March, Voltalia had 1,637 MW of installed wind, solar, hydro as well as biomass energy capacity versus 1,161 MW a year previously. Around fifty percent of the total capacity comes from wind farms in Brazil. Voltalia also had some 980.4 MW of projects unfinished.
