Energiekontor has reached financial close on a 60MW solar park in Brandenburg, Germany, with construction starting in Q3 2024 and 68GWh of green electricity generated in its 1st year of operation. It also has the option to develop solar parks with a total capacity of 225MW in Germany and France.

Germany-based energy giant RWE AG has agreed to eight Power Purchase Agreements with Dominion Energy Inc. for seven projects in Virginia, producing 750,000 MWh to meet the electricity needs of 70,000 homes. RWE Clean Energy will serve as long-term owner-operator and has an 80-MW off-take deal plus DER PPAs in place.

Microquanta recently completed construction of 260 kW Perovskite-based PV Power Station in Qujiang district, Quzhou City, with components certified by domestic and foreign CQC and VDE. Special low-damage, high-resistance packaging was provided to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The Power Station is expected to help rural revitalization and promote perovskite applications.

Voltalia has opened a new office in Tirana, Albania with 23 employees to support local growth. The office will provide turnkey solar plant construction services and develop PV and wind projects, including the 140 MW Karavasta solar farm in Fier. Operational in 2023, the farm is backed by a EUR 29 million loan from EBRD.

Clenera LLC, a subsidiary of Israeli renewables developer Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd, announced their 105-MW DC Apex Solar project in Montana is now online. Producing enough energy to cover 13,500 households, it is the first joint project between Clenera and Enlight, financed by Bank of America, NORD/LB, and Huntington National Bank. Clenera is developing more projects in Montana.

Avangrid has announced their first solar project in California: the 44MW Camino Solar to be constructed by Cupertino Electric in Kern County. It will create jobs, generate local taxes, and bring clean energy to the area. Pedro Azagra, Avangrid CEO, calls it a necessary step to address climate change.

Enel Colombia's 132.2 MW solar farm in Fundación, Colombia, is now delivering energy to the grid. With 244,800 solar panels spread across 237 hectares, this USD 109 million project was awarded a 2023-2037 power purchase agreement in Colombia's October 2021 renewable energy auction.

INVL Renewable Energy Fund I has raised EUR 4.5 million in its maiden public bond sale in Lithuania, attracting 250+ investors with an interest rate of 10% and a two year maturity. The proceeds will go towards solar projects in Poland and Romania, estimated to cost up to EUR 350 million.

Origis Energy is set to create a solar-plus-storage site in Mississippi, with 150 MW of solar and 50 MW of battery storage. The Golden Triangle II project will generate enough electricity to power 126,000 homes and have an economic benefit of over $145m. Supported by PPAs from TVA, RES and Mitsubishi Power Americas are providing construction and battery storage services.

Naturgy Energy Group SA turns up the heat with 4.2-MW solar farm on Gran Canaria. The Salinetas project features over 7,700 photovoltaic modules and 7.2 GWh of electricity annually. Naturgy obtains 44 MWp of solar projects with support from Spanish government and European Regional Development Fund. Now 100 MW of operational renewables capacity in the Canary Islands.

Duke Energy's innovative pilot project in DeBary, Florida, will feature green hydrogen production, storage and combustion technology.
