Togo Solar Plant With Jakson As EPC Inaugurated
The Head of state of Togo, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé inaugurated a 50MWp Solar Power Plant in the West African nation. The Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Solar Power Plant Project is being created by AMEA Power, Dubai and developed, set up, commissioned, and executed by Jakson Group from India. The West African Development Bank and Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) given concessional car loans for the project.

Malawi Boosts Solar Energy with 10-MW Plant
Egenco begins construction of 10-MW solar power plant in Nanjoka, Malawi. Attendees included Energy Minister Ibrahim Matola. The USD 14 million project is the first phase of a 20-MW solar plant with 2.5 MWh battery storage system. Chint Electrical Co is the contractor and has acquired land for up to 50MW. This project is part of the Malawian government's wider plans to expand rural access to electricity.

Western Balkans Soars with 55MW Solar Plant in Novaci
Mey Energy recently completed a 55 MW photovoltaic facility in Novaci, North Macedonia - the biggest solar power plant in the Western Balkans. Spanning 57 hectares and using 101,000 panels, it will produce 85 GWh of electricity annually, serving up to 30,000 households and enabling a transition away from coal.
