Equinor Doubles Polish Solar Capacity
Equinor has commissioned its second Polish solar plant, Zagórzyca. Developed and operated by the Polish renewable power producer Wento, the 60MW facility is part of Equinor's 1.6GW solar pipeline and is supported by Danske Commodities' electricity sales. 500 people were involved in the construction of the 55 hectare plant. Equinor's commitment to Poland's energy transition is evident.

Axpo Unveils Alpine Solar Duo
Axpo's ambitious project is set to bring renewable energy to Switzerland with a new 30MW solar plant on Alp da Rueun. Combined with an existing 15MW array, the two sites are expected to generate 66GWh per year, enough to power the equivalent of 14,000 households. To be completed in late 2025, the project will also keep ski slopes, hiking and cycling trails undisturbed.

Aisin Corp Signs VPPA for 50 MW from Texas Solar Plant
Aisin Corp, a Japanese automotive parts supplier, has partnered with Greenalia to reserve 50 MW of energy from Texas' Misae II solar project. Greenalia will generate 130 GWh of electricity annually for Aisin's North American unit, 18% of the project's capacity. Misae II is expected to be operational by late 2025 and could expand up to 695 MWdc.
