PKN Orlen to invest EUR 15bn in renewable resource by 2030
Polish oil as well as gas major PKN Orlen (WSE: PKN) has allocated PLN 70 billion (USD 15.8 bn/EUR 14.8 bn) for developing renewable resource sources under its upgraded method for the 2023-2030 period, the company claimed on Tuesday.

465 MW Solar Powered: NIPSCO's Indiana Plans
NIPSCO, a NiSource Inc. subsidiary, has brought 465MW of solar parks online in Indiana. EDPR NA developed and installed them, which will bring in $101 million in tax revenue over 35 years. 75MW of battery storage capacity will accompany them, along with the retirement of the R.M. Schahfer coal-fired plant in 2025. NIPSCO's commitment to benefit customers includes going coal-free by 2028 and cutting their carbon footprint by 90% by 2030.
