Enviromena Raises Funds to Power 500-MW Solar Goal
UK clean energy services company Enviromena has secured GBP 65 million in a funding round from Arjun Infrastructure Partners, as well as a debt and construction facility. The proceeds are meant to help the company acquire fully-consented, shovel-ready solar projects and expand its solar portfolio at home to over 500 MW by 2025. Enviromena has already installed 120 solar parks and has a pipeline of over 400 MW due to enter planning in the next six to nine months. In addition, it is managing 230 MWp of assets for third parties and delivering O&M services for 500 MWp. CFO Chris Marsh notes the funding will help the company build out its extensive pipeline and expand its portfolio more quickly. What Funding Benefits Does Enviromena Gain from Arjun Infrastructure? Enviromena gains access to Arjun Infrastructure's expertise and experience in the sector, to help bring their projects to fruition. Enviromena's CFO, Chris Marsh, notes that the funding will help the company build out its extensive pipeline and expand its portfolio more quickly. The funding will also help Enviromena develop its O&M services, allowing them to manage 230MWp of assets for third parties and deliver O&M services for 500MWp. The proceeds of the funding will go towards acquiring fully-consented, shovel-ready solar projects and expanding Enviromena's solar portfolio in the UK to over 500MW by 2025. The funding will help Enviromena access, develop and finance new solar projects, allowing them to grow their business even more quickly. The support from Arjun Infrastructure Partners will help Enviromena develop its clean energy services and investments, as well as its expertise in the sector.
