Indian renewable energy company ReNew Energy Global Plc has inaugurated a 400-MW solar farm in Rajasthan as part of a larger 600-MW solar project. The plant benefits from a 25-year power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited, with a tariff set at INR 2.18 per kilowatt-hour. The mega-plant is expected to generate around 1,331 million units of electricity annually and will spread over 2,000 acres of land in multiple villages.The remaining 200 MW of the project is set to start power production by October.
