ZNShine said it would certainly increase module setting up capacity by 4GW at its production base in Suqian, Jiangsu Province, China. The very first stage expansion is expected to start manufacturing in November 2020, taking overall nameplate capability from 3.5 GW at the end of 2019 to 7.5 GW in 2020.

A 2nd stage development is prepared to be finished in 2021, including a more 6GW of capacity to deal with large-area, high-efficiency module setting up manufacturing, based upon market demand.

ZNShine said that the 10GW of module assembly expansion plans included capital investment of around RMB5.5 billion (US$ 795 million) to complete and ramp the new capacity.Total capcity might get to 13.5 GW in 2021.

Secret to the project is a movement to sophisticated manufacturing tools and also very automated assembly line to provide for 182mm x 182mm and 210mm x 210mm solar batteries, which are anticipated to be sourced from major vendor cell manufacturers such as Aiko Solar as well as Tongwei.

The business also kept in mind that large-area modules (2,650 x 1,450 mm) in quantity production would certainly have power outputs in the range of 720Wp. ZNShine is embracing non-destructive cell cutting, high-density packaging, MBB innovation and also multi-cut cell innovation.
