  • Wisconsin's Public Service Commission (PSC) has given the green light to a 200-MW solar park project suggested by a device of Chicago-based Invenergy LLC.

The authorization concerns the Paris Solar Energy Center in Kenosha County, the PSC stated last week after voting all in favour of the proposition. The system was granted consent as a merchant project. According to the PSC decision, a condition was set for preventing forested land and also a site of ancient value.

Building of the nuclear power plant results from start next year, with business operations anticipated to be launched in 2022. Planned to conceal to 1,500 acres (607 ha) of land in the town of Paris, the solar (PV) park will certainly be capable of creating adequate power to supply 55,000 residences each year, the designer price quotes.
