Taiwan toasts startup of major solar farm

• 272MW E2 PV farm will can contributing as much as 4% of the island's complete PV energy output a year

Developer Vena Energy, together with the Taiwanese President, is celebrating the commercial startup of the island's largest solar farm.

The 272MW E2 solar farm will can adding approximately 4% of Taiwan's total solar energy output yearly.

President Tsai Ing-wen of Taiwan inaugurated the E2 solar farm, which is also Vena Energy's biggest running project to date.

E2 is improved reclaimed land spanning 226 hectares as well as attributes 680,000 solar photovoltaic panels
