Greenvolt Power Actualize is a joint venture focusing on large-scale solar projects in North America. The JV has signed contracts with a major US utility for 97-MW DC solar projects, generating enough to power 16,000 homes. Projects operational 2025-2026. Actualize Solar Partners has 30 GW of renewable power assets.

Dominion Energy is constructing a 100-MW solar facility with a battery storage component, expected to generate enough electricity to power over 37,000 homes. The project will commence late this year, and will result in USD 200 million in economic activity and two 1-MW solar carport arrays, 18 electric transit buses, 50 electric fleet vehicles and electric vehicle charging stations.

Clenera LLC, a subsidiary of Israeli renewables developer Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd, announced their 105-MW DC Apex Solar project in Montana is now online. Producing enough energy to cover 13,500 households, it is the first joint project between Clenera and Enlight, financed by Bank of America, NORD/LB, and Huntington National Bank. Clenera is developing more projects in Montana.

US Commerce Department's 17-month probe is set to rule on trade practices related to Chinese-made solar equipment. Sanctions could include antidumping and countervailing duties up to 254% next June, impacting US clean energy growth and job opportunities. Ruling may also affect domestic manufacturers and treatment of silicon wafers used for solar cells and modules.

NorSun plans to build a 5GW production facility in the US and 3GW expansion in Årdal, Norway, funded in part by the EU Innovation Fund.

Rio Tinto - the world's second-largest miner - is launching the largest solar PV park in Canada's North to provide electricity to its diamond mine in the Northwest Territories. The project will reduce diesel consumption & GHG emissions by 50% by 2030.
