- Spanish renewable power and gas distributor Audax Renovables SA (BME: ADX) claimed today that it has actually begun building works with its 6.87-MWp La Miranda solar PV project in the Guadalajara province of Spain.
The company anticipates the investment in the project to get to some EUR 4.3 million (USD 4.5 m), it claimed.
The La Miranda solar farm will certainly be geared up with near 12,500 modules of 550 Wp and also 1-axis trackers from a tier-1 supplier. As soon as in operation, the plant is expected to produce some 12.2 GWh of power per year, Audax said.
The brand-new project takes Audax back to Guadalajara's municipality of Fontanar, where the firm developed its initial solar farm, the Canamares. That plant is completely up and running and "doing much better than expected", Audax added.
