Projekt Solartechnik secures PPA for 22 MW of Polish PV farms
- Polish renewable resource developer Projekt Solartechnik (PST) stated today it will provide power from solar (PV) farms of a total of 22 MW to domestic renewable energy trader Respect Energy for nearly six years under a power purchase agreement (PPA).
PST, part of Polish Famur (WSE: FMF) and also TDJ groups, will certainly feed an overall of 130 GWh from March 2023 throughout of 2028 from two farms, one each in Zabice and also Gniewino, northwestern Poland.
PST specialises in roof and ground-mounted PV installations, wind farms and also the sale of solar centers. Presently, it has a projected 2.7 GW of capacity in its portfolio of solar projects in Poland, at various stages of development.
Recently, in November, PST authorized a PPA with Polish major copper and also silver producer KGHM Polska Miedz for energy supply from a 5.2-MW solar farm unfinished in Turek, the west-central Wielkopolskie province.
Respect Energy, an independent player on the power market in Poland, deals only with electrical power from sustainable sources. It accepts more than 600 power generators in Poland, the company said on its site.
