Poland's Onde secures debt for 32-MW solar project

Polish renewables contractor Onde SA has secured PLN 87 million in debt financing to build a 32-MW solar park in northeastern Poland. The project, named Park Lewald, is expected to be operational by April 2025. The financing was obtained from domestic lender mBank through Onde's subsidiary Park Lewald sp zoo.
Onde, a subsidiary of Polish builder Erbud SA, plans to use the external financing to complete the project and transfer ownership to a final investor. The company is also working on a wind project in the same area to take advantage of hybridization potential. Onde has already sold 60 MW of solar projects this year and aims to have 1.6-1.8 GW in its renewables portfolio in the next few years.
