Philadelphia Solar finishes 18.7-MW solar project in Jordan

- Philadelphia Solar, Amman, Jordan-based solar power devices maker and programmer has finished the 3rd and also last stage of an 18.7-MW solar project in its native country.

The project was sponsored by Jordan's Social Security Investment Fund (SSIF) and price JOD 17m (USD 24m/EUR 20m) to implement. SSIF will certainly recover the investment cost within 3 years, Philadelphia Solar claimed.
The third solar plant in the project was completed and inaugurated in Al Rama, Jordan Valley. The very first one was inaugurated in July 2020 in the Ghor Kabid area, while the second one followed in February 2021 in Jabira location, Zarqa.
The solar plants perseverance buildings and also branches of the fund, as well as a hotel in Amman.
