Osaka Gas, Oriden to create 600 MW of solar, storage space projects in the United States
- Energy company Osaka Gas USA Corp (OGUSA) claimed on Wednesday that it is signing up with forces with Pittsburgh-based renewable resource developer Oriden LLC to create over 600 MWac/700 MWdc of utility-scale solar as well as storage projects in the US.

The business set out to interact through multiple stages of the project development up until the begin of construction.
OGUSA, which is the US unit of Japanese firm Osaka Gas Co Ltd (TYO:9532), said that the projects will certainly be situated in "specific United States markets", but provided no other details.
The partnership complies with OGUSA's procurement of the 11-MW/15.7-MWdc Brighter Future solar project in North Carolina from Oriden. OGUSA acquired this project along with a company within Japanese group Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (TYO:7011).
Sunao Okamoto, OGUSA head of state as well as chief executive officer, said that he anticipates the relationship with Oriden to broaden through future partnership.
