New 6-MWp solar plant creates power for Brazil's Algar Telecommunications

- Brazil's Algar Telecom introduced on Wednesday that the 5.9-MWp Capim Branco II solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Minas Gerais state is currently functional.
The telecoms and also IT arm of Grupo Algar partnered with Brazilian firms Pacto Energia and also Argon Energias, which possess the plant and also with each other invested around BRL 23 million (USD 4.4 m/EUR 3.7 m) in the project.
