German renewables developer Juwi GmbH has sold a 267-MW solar portfolio in Greece to investment firms Foresight and Mirova. Juwi will continue to serve as the EPC and O&M contractor for the projects, which consist of three clusters of solar farms totaling 267 MW. The solar farms will be located in Central Greece and will feature around 430,000 bifacial solar panels.

The construction of the solar complex is set to begin in August 2024, with commissioning planned for the first quarter of 2026. Once operational, the solar farms are expected to generate around 515 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, enough to meet the power consumption needs of over 100,000 Greek people. This sale marks the largest solar portfolio in Juwi's history, highlighting their position as a leading project development company in foreign markets.
