INTEC/CHINT to Power 12,600 Homes in Sweden

INTEC and CHINT Solar have partnered to build a 64-MWp photovoltaic solar park in Hallstavik, outside Norrtalje, Sweden. The project will cover around 71 ha (175 acres) of land and consist of approximately 92,000 solar panels. Upon completion, it is expected to generate 63 GWh of electricity each year, providing energy to more than 12,600 households. Axfood AB will purchase the solar farm’s output for 12 years minimum under a signed power purchase agreement in June. Construction is planned for completion by the second quarter of 2024.
