Duke Energy to develop twin 74.9-MW solar arrays in Florida

- Duke Energy Florida will start building and construction on 2 new solar projects in the state later on this month. The projects, located in Bay as well as Madison counties, belong to Duke's community solar program, Clean Energy Connection. The projects must be finished by the end of the year, developing around 200 to 300 temporary jobs throughout that time.
Burro Creek Renewable Energy Center (74.9-MW) will be built on around 700 acres that consists of thoughtful site buffers for the community in Bay County, Florida.
After a successful community open residence, Winquepin Renewable Energy Center (74.9-MW) will certainly be built on roughly 530 acres in Madison County, Florida.
