Ukrainian energy group DTEK has bolstered its renewable energy portfolio in Romania with the acquisition of a 60-MW solar photovoltaic project named Glodeni II. This project, bought from the Romanian developer Finas Group, will be located in Glodeni commune and will complement DTEK's operational 53-MW Glodeni I solar farm, creating one of Romania's largest solar facilities. Construction for Glodeni II began earlier this year, with operations expected to commence by the summer of 2025.
