Croatia's Vukovar obtains European give for public buildings PV project

- European gives will cover 85% of a 5.8 million kuna ($809,000/ 773,000 euro) project to install planetary systems with an overall capacity of 801.90 kW in public buildings in the eastern Croatian city of Vukovar, the local authorities said.
Twelve facilities - the town hall, schools, a kindergarten, an open air market and also sports complexes - will certainly get solar energy systems thanks to the project, the mayor of the town, Ivan Penava, stated on Friday, as priced estimate by the Vukovar city website.
The grant for the project will certainly be offered under an agreement in between the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein as well as Norway.
The project will certainly be executed within 2 years together with Norwegian Energy Farm International Foundation.
