Ameresco to build 10-MW solar-storage micro-grid in Prince Edward Island

The so-called Slemon Park micro-grid will certainly contain a 10-MW solar farm with direct current-coupled energy storage, Ameresco said. The project was developed in cooperation with local electrical energy company Prince Edward Island (PEI) Corporation.

The micro-grid will profit Slemon Park, a company as well as residential community possessed and also run by commercial real estate business Slemon Park Corporation.
