Evergreen Renewables, the Indian unit of US green energy platform Evergreen Power Solutions Inc, has announced a partnership with the Gujarat government to build a 400 MW hybrid renewables complex in the state. The proposed project will require an investment of INR 40 billion and is part of Gujarat's goal to source 50% of its power from renewable energy sources by 2030. Evergreen Renewables owns a 2.3 GW pipeline of wind, solar and battery storage projects in 6 states and its parent company has already commissioned 734 MW of capacity in the US and India.
