Sharp introduces black, half-cut-cell module
Japanese electronic devices brand name Sharp has actually introduced a black, half-cut-cell, PERC, monocrystalline photovoltaic panel with a power result of 320 W. The maker stated the item was meant for business as well as domestic projects with visual demands. The NU-JC320B module is made from 120 half-cells determining each 1,684 by 1,002 by 40mm. The item has power resistance of approximately 5% according to its producer, with Sharp asserting the panel has a return approximately 3% greater than comparable conventional panels including full-cell design. A numerous junction box layout indicates each fifty percent of the module can work separately as well as the 3 junction boxes are each outfitted with a solitary bypass diode in a system which is claimed to move much less warm to cells, enhancing resilience as well as efficiency. Finish The IEC61215 as well as IEC61730-certified panel functions MC4 ports made by Swiss firm Stäubli as well as an anti-reflective front-glass covering from Canadian company DSM. The layer, according to Sharp, shows 1.2% much less light than competing options. Sharp stated its module for "style-conscious business clients and also house owners" provides 19.0% performance and also includes a 25-year, direct power result assurance as well as a 15-year item warranty. The Japanese producer in January introduced a PERC, monocrystalline module collection including half-cut cells. That variety complied with 3 PERC mono items with a declared 19.1% performance in April 2018. 2 years back, Sharp attained 25.09% conversion performance in a cell including heterojunction as well as back-contact innovation, as licensed by the Japan Electrical Safety as well as Environment Technology Laboratories.

Half-cut modules from Sharp
Japanese electronics giant Sharp Corporation has launched a new PERC monocrystalline PV module series based on half-cut cell technology. The range features three five-busbar modules – the NU-JC330, NU-BA385 and NU-JB395 – which the company claims can offer a yield increase of up to 3% compared to full-cell rivals. Sharp added, the smallest, 330 W, 120 half-cut cell module – which it says offers 19.5% efficiency for just 19.5 kg – is particularly suitable for commercial and industrial applications. The manufacturer said the other two, 144-cell panels – with power outputs of 385 W and 395 W – are recommended for large rooftop or ground-mounted projects. Those 23 kg products are said to have an efficiency of 19.6% and 1500 V system voltage. “With the addition of 1400mm cables that enable leapfrog wiring and [which] reduce balance of system (BOS) costs, this module is the ideal choice for major industrial projects and power plants,” said the company. Advantages Sharp said the three modules – which comply with IEC61215 and IEC61730 standards – are beneficial in projects with shady conditions, and added half-cut technology helps decrease temperatures compared to standard cell technology, as well as offering longer duration and lowering the risk of hot spots. “The half-cut cells can still generate a 50% performance with the upper half of the module, even when the lower half is shaded,” the company noted. The Japanese manufacturer in April launched three PERC monocrystalline modules with a claimed conversion efficiency of 19.1%. The conglomerate in 2018 achieved 25.09% conversion efficiency from a cell using heterojunction and back-contact technology, as certified by the Japan Electrical Safety and Environment Technology Laboratories.
