Voltalia take advantage of growth, EPC device performance in Q2
- French renewables firm Voltalia's Q2 revenues were up 26% year-on-year to EUR111 million (US$ 113 million) as its project advancement, building and construction as well as devices purchase section continued to grow.
The company's solutions device increased revenues by 36% to EUR94.3 million as advancement revenues were up thanks to the sale of projects to third-party customers, while the building section uploaded strong development in the UK, Portugal and Kenya.
"Voltalia continued to grow at a rapid pace in the 2nd quarter with strong sales of services to third-party consumers," claimed the firm's CEO, Sébastien Clerc.
Revenues from the operations and maintenance device were flat year-on-year.
Along with its role as a renewables project provider-- spanning advancement, EPC as well as O&M solutions-- Voltalia is an asset proprietor and independent power producer.
Q2 2022 revenues from power sales jumped 8% on the same quarter last year, while manufacturing fell to 0.6 TWh, compared to 0.8 TWh in Q2 2021.
The company ended the quarter with 2.1 GW of renewables in operation and under construction, with more than 900MW unfinished.
The largest PV plants the company is developing are the SSM installations in Brazil, which have an overall mixed capacity of 507MW, adhered to by the 140MW Karavasta project in Albania, which results from be appointed in the 2nd half of 2023.
