German battery storage systems maker Tesvolt GmbH has secured its largest order to date with a 65-MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The BESS will be built in the city of Worms and will be operated jointly by EWR AG, W Power, and Timbra.

Tesvolt will handle the development, supply, installation, service, and maintenance of the site, which will use lithium NCA cells from Samsung SDI. The project represents a significant milestone for Tesvolt, as it continues to expand its presence in the energy storage market with additional projects in Germany and Sweden totaling over 40 MWh in capacity.
