Barcelona Establishes Solar Pavement at a Historic Square
The Barcelona City Council just recently revealed that it is moneying the advancement of a 50-square-meter pilot project at Plaça de Les Glòries Catalanes, a historic square, for examining the feasibility of PV-paving technology which will be supplied by Spain's Sorigué and Hungary-based Plati. The project won the metropolitan obstacle 'Generator sidewalks', which looked for innovative services for creating renewable resource making use of city facilities.
