Midsummer Gets EU Grant to Build 200-MW CIGS Factory
Midsummer AB has been awarded an EU grant of EUR 32 million to build a 200-MW CIGS solar cell factory in Sweden. The CIGS solar cells are lightweight, flexible and able to be installed on lightweight roofs. The project is expected to solidify Midsummer AB's foothold in the European solar market.

Midsummer to scale up Swedish solar cell manufacturing amid skyrocketing demand
Swedish thin-film solar innovation firm Midsummer abdominal (STO: MIDS) will look for to expand its international manufacturing capabilities with an additional capacity of approximately 20 MW amid a more comprehensive plan that could scale up its producing to 200 MW.

Sweden's Midsummer ships CIGS solar cell production line to Russia
Swedish thin-film solar modern technology firm Midsummer AB (STO: MIDS) claimed it has provided the initial solar cell production line to a consumer in Russia as part of its framework agreement with Russian innovation team Rusnano.
