African Development Bank to Fund 100 MW Tunisian Solar Project
The loan package is to co-finance the construction of the 100 MW Kairouan solar energy plant in Tunisia. The new financial aid covers $10 million and another EUR10 million from the Bank, as well as $17 million concessional financing from the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA).

AfDB Approves $27 Mn Loan to Establish 200 MW Solar Plant in Egypt
The African Development Bank's Board of Directors today authorized $27.2 million in lending financing for the layout, building and construction and also operation of a 200 MW photovoltaic solar power plant at Kom Ombo, in Upper Egypt on the river Nile.
