Haiti addresses power shortages with 130 MW of PV capability
The head of state of the Caribbean island has introduced several ground-mounted PV plants will be tendered, along with 60 MW of thermal power generation capacity. The projects belong to a strategy to give the nation with universal access to electrical energy during Jovenel Moïse's five-year term in workplace.

Big solar-plus-storage project helping Haiti reduce diesel consumption and power prices
The government of the Caribbean island is planning two solar parks with large scale storage with the help of the Inter-American Development Bank and the United States Agency for International Development. Inter-American is seeking technical help with tendering the projects.
