The solar division at Mortenson has actually introduced a collaboration with Orteco, an Italian-based OEM, to create robotic equipment to advance the building and construction of solar power installations. The new GPS-enabled pile circulation system can run autonomously to exactly position piles across utility-scale solar sites during building.
