Varying from varied international titans to tiny, pure-play residential installers, solar supplies offer a great deal of options for capitalists.

ROTH Capital Partners has told investors that the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus in China is likely to impact the solar industry supply chain, due to extended work stoppage in eight provinces, many being key solar manufacturing hubs, through February 9th.

Enphase Energy announced the installation of the company’s one-millionth Enphase microinverter-based solar system. With over 23 million microinverters shipped, there are now more than 6.5 GWDC of Enphase-based systems deployed in 130 countries. The one-millionth installation was part of the Enphase low-income solar partnership with GRID Alternatives, a national leader in bringing solar and job training to underserved communities.

Enphase Energy has signed a strategic supply agreement with Sunrun to provide its seventh-generation Enphase IQ microinverters to Sunrun for use in its residential solar business.

Enphase Energy announced that the Enphase IQ 7A microinverter for high-power monofacial and bifacial solar modules will begin shipping to customers in North America in November 2019. The IQ 7A microinverter augments the lineup of seventh-generation Enphase microinverters with support for modules up to 450 W, targeting high-power residential and commercial solar applications.

Investors are afraid of solar energy right now, but the long-term prospects of the industry are improving.

Leading microinverter supplier, Enphase Energy shipped over 1.2 million units in the second quarter of 2019, with its latest IQ 7 model accounting for around 98% of shipment total.
