New York State Office of Renewable Energy Siting approves proposal for 500-MW solar project
Hecate Energy revealed today that the application for its proposed 500-MW Cider Solar Farm in the communities of Elba and Oakfield, New York City has been regarded full by the New York State Office of Renewable Energy Siting (ORES). If accepted by ORES, Cider Solar Farm would certainly be the largest solar project permitted and also constructed to day in the State of New York City. Hecate filed its preliminary application in June of 2021.
