The public discussion is set up to start on September 9 as well as will last via January 9, 2022.

As introduced last January, Neoen as well as Engie will construct the 1-GW solar energy facility in Saucats in the Gironde department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine area. The plant will be paired with a 40-MW power storage space system and a 10-MW electrolyser for the manufacturing of environment-friendly hydrogen. The so-called Horizeo project needs a financial investment of around EUR 1 billion (USD 1.18 bn) and also will extend an area of around 1,000 ha (2,471 acres).

Transmission network operator RTE will certainly be in charge of the electric link for the project.
