- Spanish renewables designer Opdenergy has signed a power acquisition agreement (PPA) with Entergy Louisiana for a 160-MW straight present (DC) solar photovoltaic or pv (PV) project.
The 20-year PPA will sustain the project's growth in Allen Parish, Louisiana. The local subsidiary of Entergy Corp (NYSE: ETR) will certainly get 100% of the energy created by the plant upon completion, the Spanish company stated.
Opdenergy anticipates to begin in January 2023, while grid connection is prepared to occur during the initial quarter of 2024. When up and running, Allen Parish's new solar farm will be capable of producing near to 302,000 MWh annually
This new agreement will certainly be assessed for authorization by the Louisiana Public Service Commissionc.
