  • Oil&Natural Gas Corp has issued an invitation to tender for development of the 5-megawatt photovoltaic system at its plant located in Hazira.

The lump-sum turn-key project includes EPCC, as well as design, supply and testing of a photovoltaic installation. The construction phase of the project has to be completed within twelve months from winning the tender. In addition to the above scope of work, the project developers will have to supply O & M services during seven years, right after successful performance of OAT.

The bids for the project must be submitted no later than the 11th of Feb, 2020. The commercial proposal opening is scheduled for the same day. As for the prebid gathering, it will take place on the 20th of Jan. The meeting will be held to deal with the concerns the tenderers have raised. The tender participants have to supplement their offers with a 35,930,000-rupee deposit.

Two months ago, the Indian top energy company floated the tender for installation of the PV system with a capacity of 15 megawatts. The solar plant will be located at its Vagra Site in Bharuch (the Indian state of Gujarat).

In late summer of 2019, ONGC posted a tender for 2-megawatt floating photovoltaic plant at its OMPL located in SEZ. The 10-megawatt solar installation had been constructed by Vikram Solar in the preceding year. The PV plant had been designed to supply electricity to three ONGC’s facilities located in Hazira, Gandhar and Dhaej.
