Japan's Sharp to set up 5-MW rooftop solar array in Thailand

- Sharp Energy Solutions Corporation (SESJ), part of Sharp Corp (TYO:6753), revealed today it will certainly install a 4.99-MW straight existing (DC) roof solar energy selection in Thailand.

The solar (PV) system will be built on top of a passenger car tire plant in Nakhon Pathom province that is had by Thai tire manufacturer Deestone Group.
SESJ supervises of the engineering, purchase and also construction (EPC) services. With completion anticipated at the end of March 2022, the solar park should be capable of creating 7,293 MWh of electricity per year, enough to offset the equivalent of 2,326 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) discharges.
Deestone Group additionally intends to mount other solar systems at its production bases in Thailand, according to journalism release.
