Highfield Solar Ltd, a joint venture in Ireland, has secured a EUR-65-million project financing debt facility for the construction and operation of the 93-MWp Gaskinstown solar park near Duleek, County Meath. The project, which won in the Irish government's RESS 2 auction, is set to be completed by September 2024 using bifacial modules and fixed-tilt support structures.

The financing for the project is provided by Cooperatieve Rabobank UA, which also financed the Rathnaskilloge project developed by Highfield Solar in December 2023. The JV, consisting of ib vogt, Highfield Energy, and Aura Power, has successfully completed a 282-MWp portfolio in Ireland, with plans for further expansion in the future.
