France awards 50 MWp of solar in non-interconnected locations
- France has awarded near 50 MWp of capacity in a tender for solar projects in non-interconnected zones (ZNIs), with or without a battery storage element, official information showed on Friday.

The Ministry of Ecological Transition revealed 89 victors in the 6th round of the tender programme held by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE). The selected projects will certainly add a mixed power generation capacity of 49.8 MWp in Corsica as well as the overseas regions.
The list of victors includes France's Albioma SA (EPA: ABIO), So Watt, Green Yellow and Helexia Solar Guyane, a unit of French sustainable nuclear power plant driver Voltalia SA (EPA: VLTSA). The full checklist of awarded projects is readily available on the ministry's website.
The fifth telephone call of the ZNIs tender programme awarded 33 proposals with an incorporated capacity of 29 MWp. The designated capacity was for projects found in French Guiana and also Mayotte.
