Equinix inks PPAs to back 225 MW of new solar in Spain
- US data centre company Equinix Inc (NASDAQ: EQIX) stated that it has actually signed five power purchase agreements (PPAs) to obtain 225 MW of solar energy and support new construct in Spain.

The 5 new projects will certainly be situated in different areas of Spain that boast higher solar radiation that parts of the country, the business's local unit stated.
Spanish vertically incorporated renewables team Ignis will handle the projects. Equinix stated that it was supported by Schneider Electric in project choice and contract arrangements.
