Amongst the power resources, solar made up the largest part with 324 MW of the capacity attached to the grid last month, while wind and also hydropower contributed 153.5 MW and 30.3 MW, specifically.

Thermal power plants represented the non-renewable energy additions with 85.2 MW.

On the whole, 3,343.1 MW of power-generating capacity was added to the national grid in the initial four months of the year, including 1,643 MW of wind as well as 1,243.4 MW of solar sources.

On May 2, the country had 191,702.7 MW of authorised power in total amount. As much as 83.55% of the available capacity is from renewable sources, the firm kept in mind.
