BNDES to support 144 MW of DG solar systems in Brazil

- The Brazilian Development Bank, or BNDES, introduced on Wednesday that it authorised the provision of funding for concerning 144 MW of dispersed generation (DG) solar projects.

Particularly, BNDES has actually provided a BRL-700-million (USD 137.98 m/EUR 126.13 m) loan to Alsol Energias Renovaveis SA, currently named (re)energisa. This is the bank's largest funding agreement for a DG renewable resource project, it claimed.
The cash will certainly enable the implementation of 49 DG photovoltaic or pv (PV) systems in the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro.
