ABO Wind AG, a German renewables developer, has sold the last 100 MW of a 300 MW solar cluster in South Africa's North-West Province. The project is to be installed on 450 acres of private land and a private power purchase agreement has been secured with an off-taker. Last autumn, the other two projects of the cluster were sold to local solar power producer Sola Group and will supply electricity to titanium products maker Tronox Mineral Sands. ABO Wind AG currently has a pipeline of over 4.6 GW of renewable energy projects in South Africa.
