Every nation strives to have the largest solar PV station. Consequently, the number and the list of the top utility-scale PV plants is constantly changing and increasing. China, the United States, and India are the champions in this race due to the enormous number of sunny hours they have yearly. Some African, South American, and Middle Eastern nations, which also receive much solar radiation, are catching up with the leaders.
